A New Year update regarding Real Estate activity in Prince Edward County:
2009 was a bounce-back year after the 4th quarter fallout of 2008. We are presently experiencing a strong start to the New Year with a high volume of buyers showing significant interest in our market area.
All projections and indicators look very promising for 2010. I look forward to another year of having a high percentage of my listings sell. With hard work and perseverance over 50 of my listings sold in 2009.
If you plan on selling your home now is an excellent time to enter the market place. There is always less inventory for buyers at this time of year but this year we have a significant factor to consider. It is reported the HST tax will come into effect July 1st, 2010. I expect buyer activity to be brisk prior to its arrival.
